Ignite South Africa

Highlights

Phase One (October 2023 – May 2024)

Phase one of Ignite South Africa was all about mentorship, equipping, and catalytic leader development.

Through our online masterclass, 7-month Kingdom Business Mentorship experience, and multiple live training and connection events in Cape Town and Johannesburg, we directly impacted 235 aspiring and current entrepreneurs.

Our efforts to establish connections and explore collaboration across South Africa were also fruitful. We met individually with several key business leaders and their teams during the recent visit to Cape Town and Johannesburg, leading to the creation of the South Africa Kingdom Business Collaborative.

The South Africa Kingdom Business Collaborative brings together a diverse group of leaders, each with a remarkable track record and extensive experience in their respective fields. These leaders are at the forefront of transforming their communities through education, skills training, social enterprises, wealth creation, and innovative business models with an unapologetic focus on Kingdom advancement.

Their combined expertise and commitment to Kingdom-driven entrepreneurship create a powerful synergy and we are excited to see what God orchestrates through our collaborative meetings hosted by the KDE Foundation.

Phase Two (June – December 2024)

Phase two of Ignite South Africa was all about community and connection with local churches.

We launched our online Learn & Connect Events to provide community-centered teaching on Kingdom-driven entrepreneurship and our Executive Director Shae Bynes led workshops and teaching sessions at multiple local churches.

We also now have a number of small book study groups working through Grace Over Grind and Doing Business God’s Way to grow together in doing business WITH God.

Phase Three (Current)

January 2025 kicked off Phase 3, and this year, we are focusing on multiplication by creating and serving a community of facilitators of growth groups across South Africa, helping them to be catalysts for Kingdom-driven entrepreneurship in their local communities.

We will also return to South Africa and continue connecting and serving local churches and their small business owner community. We are also focused on exploring further opportunities for collaboration through our South Africa Kingdom Business Collaborative.
